currently travelling on a FOSS (Freedom of Severn & Solent Rover) I'm in the "privileged" position of travelling on the 1548 from Cheltenham Spa which dep 43 mins late, and which is terminating short at Worcester Shrub Hill. The farce being i've just counted 62 people standing, every seat taken, and people with babies in arms and squashed dogs in the vestibules. Clearly demand exceeds capacity as at Westbury this afternoon the 1344 appeared equally full to bursting. And with such capacity and only two entrances/exits is it any wonder that delays accumulate since the dwell time at Cheltenham must have been 6 mins and there was constant movement on and off the train at these times. I question what possible positive experiences a 153 gives regular travellers let alone new pax using them for leisure.

It would appear that the train you are referring to both at Westbury and Cheltenham  would be 12 27 Southampton to Great Malvern which is booked a single 153.
