I'm going to start buying a monthly season from January for use between Filton & Temple Meads.

I've been reading about discounts because of poor performance. Will I get these on monthly tickets and if so, from when?

Does it matter that my morning train is operated by Crosscountry if this is the case?

Thanks,
Joe

The first month will be normal price, renewals, if done within 28 days of expiry date of previous season will be subject to passenger charter discounts should they apply at the time.

They are a good deal - I used to get a monthly ticket but now buy a full blown year ticket which also offers cheaper rail fares for our local area if I take the family out which is neat.

They also save the hassle of having to buy a ticket everyday as well which is magic.
