Hi

I'm originally from Merthyr Vale and have been all over the country - mainly by train - through work and although I now drive a lot there is sometimes it is better to let someone else do it!

Now I live in Hampshire sometimes it is better to get the train to Wales - it is sometimes cheaper too.  Like all of you, no doubt, I have many good and bad stoies about the ATW/FGW area - chiefly the Portsmouth-Cardiff line and the South Wales Valleys.

I think that this is a really good e-talking shop.  I have been following this forum and the TransWilts battle for ages and you guys and girls talk a lot of sense.  Like me, some of you are not always enamoured by FGW et al and can see the good and bad sides of the rail network.  The one theme I have noticed is that we all want the best for our areas and try to offer a workable soulution where necessary.

I hope to chip in when I can when online.
