First spotted by Graham but now confirmed by GWR (Great Western Railway).

The 06:12 from Swindon which has been terminating at Westbury will resume continuing to Southampton Central as it used to.  (provides a service for Dilton Marsh and Warminster).
The 07:05 from Westbury is re-instated but will terminate at Gloucester rather than Cheltenham Spa as it did at the start of the year.

The 07:05 is important as it gives the TransWilts back the second morning rush hour train to Swindon that has been missing.  It calls at Trowbridge (07:11), Melksham (07:21), Chippenham (07:36), Swindon (arr 07:52) and then all stations to Gloucester (arrive 08:48)

These were due to be implemented on the 14th September but have been brought forward to coincide with the return to school.

Further update

From 19/20th September all weekend services will be restored on the TransWilts.

That means the only services yet to be restored will be the two weekday evening ones which extend beyond the TW line - the 17:50 from Gloucester to Southampton and the 20:06 from Westbury to Cheltenham Spa.

Walked over the A365 bridge with a view of the station when the 18:01 called this evening ... 5 on the platform when it came in, and 12 counted out of the station gate. Looked like 4 cars picking up / dropping off.  Numbers may be lower than actual because viewing at a distance.
