Suppose it had to happen, but today all three were fit for service and met up at Oxford just after 10am, when the 08.37 from Worcester (180109) was about to leave for London as 180104 and 180108 arrived empty from London after working the 07.10.

Looks like the HST for the 05.42 London to Worcester etc was very poorly, as 109 stayed on the duty all day. Made a mockery of the padded timings for the 17.51 London-Worcester west of Oxford, rolling into Moreton-in-Marsh five minutes early.
