A railtour is operating to Weymouth through Melksham tomorrow, then going to Eastleigh via Chandlers Ford, then down to Weymouth. Not for passenger service I'm afraid Graham! Wink

Thanks, Tom ... I've not been down to the station to see the Saturday Morning train recently so took the opportunity to pop down there.  09:18 to Swindon left about 6 minutes late with (estimate) 20 people on a 143.   Then I hand around to see the special come through:





OK - that's not the normal "125" sort of thing that gets sent through from time to time.  Undecided   Details, anyone?

I saw that this morning going through Chippenham towards Bristol / Melksham but it must have been around 10 in the morning?

Its a pair of DRS class 20s on a railtour to Weymouth. They often work the Nuclear Flask trains from Sizewell - Dungeness.
