Thanks, Lee!

Isn't this actually three different members of train crew not being available?

Train 1 - Starting from Fareham, arriving in Cardiff at 21:45 - so that crew clearly not available for train 3;

Train 2 - 20:22 from Portsmouth to Westbury - and terminating there;

Train 3 - 20:30 from Cardiff to BTM - and terminating there.

 Huh

Thanks, Jim!  Wink

Still makes it two members of crew short, though?

Rather strange yesterday that I saw the 17:09 Warminster- Portsmouth was a 2 coach 158 (and late) whereas our 17:28 Warminster- Great Malvern was a 3 coach 158! Not that I was complaining as the entire journey was extremely comfortable, but I did feel a bit sorry for the folks squashed in the other train.

Many thanks for your kind thoughts for those of us who were on the service Graz, audible groans at Filton as it appeared round the bend. It was a reminder of how far FGW have come in recent months that this is now a fairly rare occurrence, and there were a couple of infrequent travellers boarding at BTM whose languge was entertaining to say the least.

Not entirely sure where the hold up was, it’s normally a late running Westbury stopper as at least once a week we sit and watch the sheep just outside Freshford waiting for the section to clear. Friday was probably due to numbers of passengers trying to move cases twice as heavy than themselves over bikes through a train full and hardly breathing.
