Train services between Westbury and Bristol Temple Meads are being disrupted due to a fatality in the Bath Spa area.Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected.

Replacement road transport is being sourced. Customers are advised not to travel between Westbury and Bath Spa for the next 3 hours unless essential.

Its tragic when anyone chooses to take their life, but even worse when they choose to do it in front of a platform full of passengers on what would have been a very busy platform 2 at that time of the day. Thoughts are with the family of the person and with the train driver.
