The following trains were reported as cancelled today :

13:39 Reading-Basingstoke
14:07 Basingstoke-Reading
14:39 Reading-Basingstoke
15:07 Basingstoke-Reading
15:39 Reading-Basingstoke
16:07 Basingstoke-Reading
16:39 Reading-Basingstoke
17:07 Basingstoke-Reading

From the FGW website :

18:07 Reading to Basingstoke due 18:32
This train has been revised.It will no longer call at: Reading West, Mortimer and Bramley Hants.This is due to earlier signalling problems.

All ran throughout - problem was between Bramley and Southcote so most likely with the interfacing between Reading and Basingstoke New boxes.

It was due to a track circuit problem, I believe at Basingstoke

650v cable from Southcote RR faulty hence the long delay in repair.  May well have indicated in Basingstoke as a TCF
