From Go By Train :

Service: 06:46 Frome to Cardiff Central on 30/06/2008 operated by First Great Western.

Details: This train has been revised. This train will run short formed with 2 carriages. This is due to an earlier train fault.

Service: 06:12 Salisbury to Gloucester on 30/06/2008 operated by First Great Western.

Details: This train has been revised. This train will run short formed with 2 carriages. This is due to an earlier train fault.

Service: 08:42 Gloucester to Weymouth on 30/06/2008 operated by First Great Western.

Details: This train has been revised. This train will run short formed with 2 carriages between Gloucester and Bristol Temple Meads. This is due to an earlier train fault.

It's not unknown for that to run as a taxi. From experience it can turn up as anything depending what they can get to start at Westbury.

O happy days, memories of last year came flooding back, leaving people on the platform at Oldfield and Keynsham, 2 car 143 deep joy. Not sure what they used for the WsM passengers as the train divides at BTM.

Intersestingly our Guard thought the reason was stock being in the wrong place after Glastonbury strengthening the previous day.
