Title: Christmas Special 1X01, 2023.
Post by: JayMac on December 24, 2023, 15:12:42
The elves are busy loading up 1X01 at North Pole International. My home station is second on the list of calls tonight. This year it's running as a sleeper service, but sadly it hasn't been immune to cost cutting - there's no catering. Although I'm sure that mince pies, brandy, carrots and milk will be picked up at each stop.

Have you been good this year? If not Santa will be calling after Paignton.

I hope that the coal was naturally smokeless anthracite, or an approved coal based patent fuel.
And is there such a thing as reindeers ? I though it was one reindeer, many reindeer, like sheep.

There is a Christmas magic with that train where the impossible happens.  I noticed a complete carriage of mulled wine and a statement that there was no catering (which seems a contradiction) and an HS2 power car on one end with an IET power car on the other - again a miracle from the Santa workshops.
