In fact, on it! Finn and I were enjoying the retro weekend. He's pictured by the entrance to the old engine shed at Medstead & Four Marks station. I'll maybe post more from the visit in the coming days. We did clock Walmington-on-Sea's finest patrolling Ropley station while supposedly 'guarding' an insolent German U Boat captain. Gunner 'Lofty' Sugden had apparently escaped the Royal Artillery concert party, made it home from Burma and joined the Home Guard.
