There was planned to be a ^2.50 charge for the full timetable with all times, but Passenger Focus apparently kicked up a fuss and it is supposed to be available free of charge if you write to FGW, who will post it to you.

I haven't seen it available anywhere on their website, so below please see the PDF files for the full book - complete with the ^2.50 price tag :p

Excellent, many thanks for posting this Mojo. I would have gladly paid ^2.50 for a copy. Strange that SWT are charging ^4 for their version without any fuss (+^1 if you want it posted to you) and yet Passenger Focus may have got on FGW's case for charging for their TT book causing FGW not to bother promoting its availability. If I was FGW I'd say that they offer pocket TTs free of charge and for those who want a complete book can pay a small fee to cover costs.

Lighter side challenge...anyone spot the error on the route map on the front cover?
 

Just had a quick look through some of the pages and I must say what an excellent publication this is, well done FGW. Such a shame it's not being made widely available with no promotion.

I'd say a bit of an own goal by Passenger Focus on this one if it's them that has scared off FGW from making this complete TT more widely known about as I think people would be prepared to pay ^2.50 for a well laid out complete TT book which also includes a lot of extra information.

The 0900 from Brighton STILL appears to only go as far as Bristol Parkway !

The full National Rail timetable is still a better bet - and I really didn't see what was wrong with booklet E, at least the info in there was correct !

Nope, but yes you are right it is missing Brighton as well as other lines. But then I guess that like the map that appears on the SWT TT book it is only meant to be general overall map but the error that I spotted is quite a big one IMHO.

I have noticed a few things - West of England services are shown as pick up only at Reading out of London whereas they're not online or on TT4. Also a mistake on the Rail User Groups page.

Still not spotted what's up on the map tho!

Edit: is it the fact that they have shown the Portsmouth & Weymouth via Westbury services as NOT going via Bath?  ;D

So, what FGW seem to have been trying to sell, for a mere ^2.50, was a 'spot the errors' comic, with which we could have whiled away our time on board their trains ... rather good value, I'd say!  ;) :D ;D

According to Barry Doe in the latest edition of Rail, FGW will start charging for their full timetable book from December. Received my copy the other day and may I say what an excellent publication for which FGW should be applauded for. Well worth ^2.50 when they do start to charge for it.
