Probably because at ^10.40 its quite a cheap First Class ticket, and a season ticket would probably not be much cheaper than buying 7 @ ^72.80, considering the price in standard. 7DS being ^29.30

A 1st class 7 day season ticket should be 1.8 times the std 7 day ticket, I believe

then a monthly is 3.something times the 7 day ticket

you can only buy 1st seasons from a ticket office I believe as they have to input the fare etc.

If TOCs continue to push up the cost of long distance Anytime Returns at the current rate some will become more expensive than a season ticket.  Will some long distance seasons be abolished as a result of this?

Are season tickets protected fares or is that only around London.

Not all FC seasons though, some require a fare to be input which is not possible on Avantix.
