Title: re: 09:05 Westbury to Swindon saturday service Post by: anthony215 on May 26, 2011, 15:15:58 This saturday i am planing on getting a trip on this service before going up to Gloucester & Great malvern, i would like to know how busy is this service and what class of dmu useully works it.
I will be traveling from Cardiff on saturday morning before getting the 08:22 Portsmouth Hbr service from Bristol TM to Trowbridge before going to Swindon. As ever, grahame is your man for a detailed answer, but passenger numbers have been varied on the occasions I've used it, as has the type of rolling stock involved. In recent times I've travelled on Class 150, 153 and 158 units deployed on this service. The 0905 Westbury-Swindon service forms the 1014 Swindon-Cheltenham Spa service.
