I couldn't find any recent information on this so thought I'd sign up and post the question directly.
I know that last year (I think) FGW▸ (First Great Western) said that they would like to adopt the delay repay compensation scheme whereby passengers can claim regardless of the cause of a delay. I also believe that all new franchises must adopt delay repay as their compensation scheme. With FGWs franchise being renewed (and I believe this extension starts lates this year) does this mean FGW will be using delay repay from later on this year?
I am sick of being unable to claim for delays as I have a season ticket and not a regular ticket so great news if they are swapping to delay repay!
