Goodbye all, if you have any sense you will leave with me.

http://www.southwesternlines.co.uk/forums/

A great place, the alternative you may say.

That is where I posted what Graham quoted.

Cheerio.

What a liar, I have not resigned.

He has sacked me because I have gone against his mangement structure which quite frankly is awful.

We no longer have a nice atmosphere here, that was the reason I became a moderator but do you know what, Behind the Counter life is dissilusioned. It is built on unmade promises and although I would have stayed as a moderator it would be to fight for the normal members.

I have added a poll to see how much of a problem it is for individual users.

The original text of this post is unmodified (above). I just wanted to add, near the top of this thread, that the server issue was resolved a few days after this thread was posted.  At the  time of this thread starting, we were investigating so could not give a firm fix time nor analysis, and we appreciate that was frustrating for our users.  But there should be no issue into the future. Try clicking on Coombe on the Looe branch, takes you to Acton mainline!
Well, you have a long walk.

Thanks for that Karl, I will likely pop down Falmouth sometime in Half Term with it being a pair of 153's now.

Yes, the Meridians are much better, except they ordered too much First Class! Roll Eyes
I wouldn't complain, you could sit in more comfy seats for free.

Its a NXEC (National Express East Coast) HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units))

Really? I thought that Hull Trains' Vomiter clones where going to go to EMT» (East Midlands Trains - about) to join the rest of the Vomiter clones (this would free up an HST for FGW (First Great Western) etc.). Must be old news.

So where will NXEC get extra rolling stock?
NXEC are getting 180's instead of 90's and MK3's for extra services.

And why do you call Class 222's Vomiter Clones, more like Vomiter MK2, they are a lot better than 220/221's as improvments were made based on the flaws in 220/221's.

I can tell you something that not fitting TV (Thames Valley, or TeleVision, depending on context)'s was not down to ^. FGW (First Great Western) spent alot of ^ on the refurbishment programme and ^ doesn't come into it.

They were originally fitted on the refurbishment showcase vecile, here and here.

Do we really need this posted more than once!?
NO!

Well I am going to say Number 1 is between Dorchester Junction and Weymouth I think.

And I am guessing it is just past Wareham.
11  All across the Great Western territory / Across the West / Re: More trains originating/terminating beyond bedwyn for Hungerford and Bedwyn? on: May 20, 2008, 20:03:07
Personally, I think the Westbury - London shuttles would have to be 180.
Shame that we don't have any 180's from December.

(3) Your model railway Graham and Melksham station on it.

Late note added by Graham.  In reviewing posts, I note I hadn't folowed up on this one; rather than do so out of place at the end of the threat, I'll do so here.  Correct - it's a model railway. Not mine, and in fact I don't have a model railway nor work on anyone else's.  And it's a model of a location in Wales, rather than the place Conner guessed.
13  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: 20/5/08 0837 WOS to PAD short formed on: May 20, 2008, 19:25:31
I'm amazed the Adelantes are so reliable this evening, all 3 out in use off diagram.

17:51 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill due 20:22
This train will run short formed with 5 carriages. This is due to an earlier train fault.

18:31 Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington due 20:44
This train will run short formed with 5 carriages. This is due to an earlier train fault.

18:51 London Paddington to Oxford due 19:50
This train will run short formed with 5 carriages. This is due to an earlier train fault.

3 Adelante ran diagrams, you could have ended up with a 165 Mookie, that would have been bad.
