l'm doing some research on the village of Charlton (near Filton) and need some help. There was/is an aqueduct that crosses the line near to the old halt. What l want to know is what is/ was it's purpose? Thanks.

Hi all, l was on this forum before but due to age/computer problems etc. l had forgotten my login details. My brain has kicked back into action and l remembered my details!  l have lived in the Shirehampton area for 10 years and prior to that lived in southern territory . (Hampshire,Dorset and the IOW). l look at the forum a lot and find it interesting. So l hope l can make some contributions. Richard
