Firstly thanks to everyone who helped with advice regarding weekly tickets from Thatcham (THA) to Peterborough (PBO)- in the end I did travel up daily - somethink I personally wouldn't have done in the darker months

I was expecting delay after delay but was very pleased to say the only delay I experienced as 5 minutes on a morning service from Reading to paddington (PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains)) which meant less time to get to kings cross (KGx) but I still made my first capital service to Peterborough.

So for the curious these are trains I caught (ill use abbreviations here having followed forum guidelines)

0547 THA to RDG (Rail Delivery Group, or Reading station, depending on context)
0616 RDG to PAD
tube to KGX
0723 to PBO
Arrive 0738

Back

1646 PBO to KGX
tube to Pad
1735 pad to RDG (corrected! - thanks 8F for noticing:) )
1912 to THA

a long day but I have spent far to much of my life in hotels (and it was the wife's birthday this week)

Not sure whether you went via Newbury on the way back because 17:35 from Padd to 19: 12 at Thatcham sems along time!

Assumming you did go via Newbury you travelled on 30 trains (6 per day excluding LUL (London Underground Ltd)) so with only one train late you achieved over 96% punctulality, if you didn't it is 1 out of 25 and is still 96%. It seems you picked a good week as the MMA for Thames Valley is currently 87.1% and for FCC (First Capital Connect) 90.5% but not sure if that's a weekly figure or MMA

MMA?

Do we mean MAA (Moving Annual Average) - Moving Annual Average?
