  13:03 Penzance to London Paddington due 18:21 This train will be terminated at Exeter St Davids.
This train will no longer call at Tiverton Parkway, Taunton, Reading and London Paddington.
Will be formed of 2 coaches instead of 8 from Penzance.
This is due to an earlier train fault.

The down HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) diagram 0706 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains)-PNZ failed at Slough this morning and terminated at Reading.  I suppose that is all they had.

Must be a shortage of HSTs (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) - in the past when the old 07:30 London Paddington to Penzance service was affected another set was usually found to take up the outward journey at either Bristol Temple Meads or Plymouth.

I note the morning HST from Frome terminated at Newbury this morning as well.

Hopefully anyone travelling decided to check the update on the FGW (First Great Western) website at 13:07.

2x153s from PZ to Exeter.  A HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) was sent down to Exeter, departed 9L, just passed through Slough.
