NRE▸ (National Rail Enquiries) says Ride Cornwall is valid on the 0817 Plymouth to Penzance. F of Dand C 3 in 7  does not mention it . Is it valid on both please ?

GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) Ranger and Rovers booklet definitely says it is valid (page 21) although it refers to 0814 not 0817.

GWRs▸ (Great Western Railway) booklet from stations says for the freedom of Devon and Cornwall

Mon to Fri: valid from 09:00 or from when the off-peak day ticket becomes valid if earlier but 2T railcard not valid until 09:30

Off peak day returns are valid on the 081* Plymouth to Penzance and a 08** Plymouth to Gunnislake.

There are also journeys within Devon where off peak day tickets are valid earlier than 9am
