Extra lunchtime return working (Monday to Friday) on the TransWilts. Removes a bit of a gap and hopefully a portent of more to come.

Good news for the timetable purists like myself. Following a large amount of feedback, Middleton Press are going to do a limited print run of the complete Summer National Rail Timetable following receipt of the corrected files from Network Rail.

You need to be quick in registering an interest by end of July. As it's a limited one off print run, the cost is higher than previous editions. It will not be available at your local station branch of WH Smith.

Many thanks for that, Timmer!  Wink Cheesy Grin

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

I've registered. Mainly because I feel Middleton need support.  They have tried their best in very trying circumstances to produce a credible publication over the last couple of years.

Middleton Press have produced some excellent books - indeed, I have on my desk right now a copy of 'Branch Line to Cheddar, including the Wrington Vale Light Railway', which includes many photographs of those old lines.  Smiley

Don't make it easy then......

Putting the email address and/or a link to any contact page in that article might generate a few more orders.....

You may have found this by now, but here's the link to order the timetable online:

Agreed that it would have been useful to include this in the news article.
