Yep, it's at Melksham; 26th June sounds about right.  First call by a steam powered train (to my knowledge) since the station re-opened in 1985.  The one (and only) call by a heritage steam loco was on 23rd April 2014, by Braunton on its way to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Please note that the September 2016 "Steam Dreams" train that calls at Melksham on its way to Kingswear will be diesel hauled on the TransWilts.

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
