I see from next week the National Express A6 bus from Paddington to Stansted is included on the train data feeds:

Runs on behalf of GW» (Great Western - used as an abbreviation for the area / lines under the Great Western franchise, as opposed to FGW which includes "First", the company operating them too. For tickets - about) apparently, any reason for this? Some sort of tie-in between NX and GWR (Great Western Railway) Huh

National Express coaches are largely a franchise.  Until 2010, routes such as the 402 and 403 ... Wiltshire into London - were operated by First Avon and Somerset.  Is it possible that the A6 will be operated by First, and / or in association with HEX?     From Heathrow and from the Thames Valley and beyond to the South West and South Wales, train to Paddington and coach to Stansted could be more attractive that Hammersmith and City to Liverpool Street and a further train ...
