Liverpool lime street bound travellers

If you are heading to the Liverpool area the Mersey rail network is suffering this Wednesday morning.
I think its more to do with the snow on the electrified line.Similar to the London Underground.
Services not expected to start till at least 11:00am
Liverpool football are at Home to Leicester on Wednesday night

I suggest that the mods move this to the Wider Picture UK^▸ section.

Merseyrail does have some GWR^▸ links in that the lines West to North of Didcot Jn were (and may be still) known as the Chester lines and also once served Birkenhead Woodside (I've been that way). Now there's an open access opportunity!

Few however would join me in wishing for the gap in the 750V dc third rail between Chester and Reading Spur Jn to be filled, alas.
