I could have sworn we had a thread on this - but darned if I can find it this morning.  We had great fun at Reading last year; that was planned as a "one off" and worked really well but as the thread has sunk like a stone for 2020, an our objective would not be clear as they were for 2019, and not sure where the budget would come from ... suggestion is that we don't look to take part.  Need to register with ACoRP (Association of Community Rail Partnerships) by 10th January to have any chance of getting into their system, and even the being outwith their membership, support wouldn't be to the degree it is for a full member.     Far better to have our members support their local CRP (Community Rail Partnership) going to a city that's some distance off their line to promote themselves and rail travel?

Community Rail in the City 2020

Due to the unprecedented development of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made the decision to cancel Community Rail in the City on 13 May. Although this was not an easy decision to make, we feel it is the right one considering the current situation.

Hopefully we can reschedule the event to a suitable date later in the year. We will look into this over the next few weeks and let you know once we have a date confirmed.
