We have a tiny kitchen at home - perhaps the size of the kitchen on an 80x if that - and I get bored then taking tine to cook so it tends to be fast food.  Struck me ... some of these might help make an excellent, quick and perhaps good value meal to prepare and serve in a new look rail leisure offering for the leisure marker.  Choose your course or courses, give them names, suggest prices (we'll see what we can do  Grin ) and we'll create a menu!

Dirty fries please!

Some interesting food combinations there. Is that a meat pie with melon?!

Indeed it is.  Remember that on a typical menu of, say, 50 items you'll fancy just a dozen or so, then filter it down to a dish to two to order.  That meat pie and melon was a rare (and interesting) meal; I am not a trained cook  Grin

Picture 1 did it for me.  Wink

That's how I'd plate it up: neatly, rice down the middle, with the two dishes of vegetables and meat on either side.

However, my beloved wife apparently finds my attention to such detail annoying: her own approach is to simply plonk everything down, all across the plate.

I have therefore talked her out of even applying for auditions to any 'amateur masterchef' program.  Roll Eyes

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

More options for the returning kitchen cars??

3 looks vegan, perhaps 2 too?
Umm is port vegan I wonder.

Though, it does make me wonder, if the whole railway travel 'experience' hopefully will move away from bums on seats/holding on to handrail to sit in front of a city computer screen, or to go a corparate team building event, spend more time with work mates than your family etc.

So yes on train catering should get a revival, there are a few HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) power cars at Eastleigh, being worked on, for a future project...
