Burnley will have 5,500 football followers heading to Preston(25 miles away) on tuesday night

Two return services at 22:56pm with a three car unit
and a bus replacement service at 22:57pm

Advise has been issued don't travel to the match by train.

That's progress. In years back they'd at least have tacked an extra unit on.

I don't know Burnley and the railway there these days .. but so many long platforms are shorter now - with out-of-use bits from Clifton Down via Trowbridge and Melksham to Sea Mills ...
