Congratulations to the following ladies and gentlemen on their awards in the New Years Honour list.  There's a couple of names I know there, and a reminder for us all that there are so many unsung heros out there; good to see that some of them have been brought to the attention of the awards committee.

Nicholas John MILLINGTON, Director, Safety Task Force, Network Rail. For services to the Railway and to the NHS during Covid-19.

Mark Stephen BRIDEL, Regional Freight Manager, Network Rail. For services to Charity and to the community in York, North Yorkshire.

Andrew Allan SCARFFE. For services to the preservation of Laxey and Lonan Heritage and the Isle of Man Railways.

How the **** do you quote me back to 1975, Chris ... in those days I lived in Orpington, studied in London and worked in Whitehall 1 day a week and Sevenoarks 2 days a week.   For rail types, the stock was mostly 4EPBs with some of the lower unit numbers to Bullied coach design and the higher numbers were southern design, and heacodes on the Hastings units were things like 22 and 33 because the older units had metal stencil numbers that used and they only carried one of each digit.

Answering my own question .... I suspect you have cut the last digit off the date parameter when you quoted, making the quote be time just one tenth of the way from 1.1.1970 to when it was really written.
