Had a short trip on one of these infernal bus trains today, didnt think they were any worse than the 143s running about Bristol , besides of course the bus seats which i must add were not as uncomfortable as those in a Turbo.
So with a nice set of proper train seats and a refurb surely these things could be ok, and prehaps provide dedicated stock for Trans Wilts instead of being sent back when the West refurb is complete
not all are going back once refurb programme is complete.
i have been told we are keeping around half of them long term for devon work and possibly one day local bristol work
Also the seats will not be replaced, but they will be refreshed. This means just new covers with the
FGW▸ 'dynamic lines' design, same seats though.
