The Falmouth Line is showing short train services today on Current Running, how can this be? Has the NR» (Network Rail - home page)/FGW (First Great Western) system gone a bit mad?

So one or both of the alternate half-hour services on a Saturday must be two carriaged now then? Peculiar, wonder where the additional carriage has come from.

It's been quite busy in Truro the past week with all the sales, all the car parks full up. So maybe theres extra passengers using the branch. I went to Truro last monday and I wish I did take the train, I live 10 minutes drive from Penryn station, on the A394 between Helston and Penryn. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a parking space.

There has been a 150 on alternate services some days recently, mainly for late night shopping. I believe it's the one from the St Ives line
