From the BTP (British Transport Police) press release:

DO YOU KNOW THESE PEOPLE? POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER MAN AND WOMAN ATTACK TRAIN PASSENGER ^ PENRYN/TRURO

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for information after a man and woman attacked a 21-year-old on a train between Penryn and Truro.
Investigating officers have also released CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision) images of four people they would like to identify and speak to in connection with the incident, which took place around 10.50pm on Saturday, 17 April 2010.
PC Wayne Frost, the investigating officer, said the incident took place on the 10.33pm First Great Western Service from Falmouth Docks to Truro.
^The victim was sat near to a woman who was shouting through the carriage at her friends. When he asked her if she could refrain from shouting she verbally abused him before slapping him around the face. A man then approached the victim and accused him of shouting at his partner before punching him repeatedly about his face and head.^
The attack left the victim, a 21-year-old from Truro, with a bloody nose and swelling and bruising to the right side of his face.
After the attack the victim remained with rail staff and informed the police, however by the time officers arrived, the two attackers had fled the station.
PC Frost added: ^After analysing CCTV images captured on board the train we have identified two men and two women who we are keen to speak to about what took place. This was an unnecessary and vicious attack on a young man who was clearly not in a position to defend himself, and I am urging anyone with any information about the attack to get in touch.^

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
