Passengers using Bristol Temple Meads were asked to walk through airport-style metal detectors during Friday's rush hour (I saw this , but wasnt searched myself , link below.)

Sgt Darryl Pearson said he was pleased with how well the operation had gone.
"We've made a few arrests and searched a number of people. Travellers have also told us they felt reassured the checks were taking place," he said.
