Just sat down to watch the Professionals on ITV4 and the first part is filmed in a 1977 Paddington station with mark 1 sleeper stock being pulled by a class 50...Just as I remember when I used to travel to Cornwal on holidays as a kid   aaaaaaahhhhhh... nostalgia

Paddinton Station late 1978 I was working there in the ODM (Out Door Maintenance, don't ask why it was called outdoor) The ODM looked after all the electrical and mechanical stuff like lifts boilers parcel trucks station lights etc, we used provide an electrical supply for film crews and be on stand by I never understood why they never used our supply always using generators ........... but it was good for a free breakfast, lunch or dinner  Grin
