British Transport Police appeal for information after member of rail staff assaulted ^ Lostwithiel
British Transport Police (BTP▸ ) officers investigating an incident which took place at Lostwithiel Railway Station are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers have today released a CCTV▸ image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident which took place on Wednesday, 5 December 2012.
PC Steve Campbell, investigating officer, said: ^Following a ticket dispute on First Great Western^s 1916hrs Penzance - Plymouth service, a male passenger is alleged to have assaulted a member of staff on board the train. The incident happened as the train arrived at Lostwithiel railway station at around 8.25pm.
^Enquiries are ongoing to identify the man responsible and I am now issuing a CCTV image and appealing for anyone who can identify the man in this photograph as I believe he will have key information which can assist the investigation. I would also like anyone who witnessed the incident on the train to come forward.^
