Hoorah!  Some public recognition for the MRDG» (Melksham Railway Development Group - about).  A recipient of an "Enhancing Melksham" award ".......for their great achievement in improving the rail service from Melksham which will benefit commuters, shoppers and visitors to the town"  (Melksham Independent News 13/03/14) Take a bow, guys!  Wink

Perhaps they should all have a 'knees'-up in Steamers caf^ at the station. No alcohol licence so it should proceed with some degree of respectable decorum. That should keep out some members of this forum who like their little tipple !

Pictures shows Peter Blackburn, Chair of MRDG» (Melksham Railway Development Group - about) and our Sion, their secretary, just behind him.  Also feature in the picture with his award for all he does for the community in both Melksham and Westbury (though the award is for Melksham in this case) is our Phil.
