Summer fete fun at Westbury to aid Macmillan

First Great Western staff from Westbury train crew depot and the railway station are holding a summer fair on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Some of the activities planned for the afternoon include a cake competition, skittles tournament, tug of war and lots of games for all the family to enjoy.

British Transport Police (BTP (British Transport Police)) will also be marking bikes, phones and laptops in a bid to crack down on theft.

FGW (First Great Western) driver manager Sally Wiltshire said: ^This event is all about bringing colleagues together, having fun and raising money for charity.

"We^ve got all the right ingredients for a great day out and it^s a fantastic opportunity to bring our local community together."

Is it at the station Graham?

Good question ... I noticed

There will be music and entertainment provided by FGW (First Great Western) staff in the Railway Club until 11pm
and that's directly across the road from the station ... so I would presume that's the base all day
