Great to see boats on the river in Melksham this weekend - something new, and hopeful y something to be repeated - as a trail boat rally initially, but then with the Wilts and Berks canal coming through to connect the Kennet and Avon cana just south of the town via Chippenhen, Wootton Bassett, Swindon, and Wantage to Abingdon.

Report on TransWilts / Connecting Wiltshire presence at the festival -

http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=14539.0

That's on the CRP (Community Rail Partnership) back room board.   That particular board is available only to TransWilts Friends - if you're a contributing member here and would like to be added to that board's friends,  please let me know.   The main reason it's private in this was is to avoid diluting down the general board content for out of area members of the forum with lots of TransWilts stuff!
