I have just come across the following website which gives pretty comprehensive TRUST▸ (Train Running System TOPS) based train reports in nice colours, for a selectable station: http://trackit.uppyjc.co.uk/TrackIT/Forms/LocationSearch.aspx

Edit to add: I have just noticed that they have started to put some basic maps onto it.  These are similar in nature to TRUST maps in that the train descriptions are coloured in accordance with the train reporting status (a little bit more advanced than Open Train Times maps).  You can also click on the train description and get the detailed running schedule for it.

I've just 'tested' it to see what is travelling through my local station, and it was incredibly detailed - giving me even more information than I could take in, actually!  Shocked

However, to be fair to the provider of that site (who is not a member of the Coffee Shop forum, so far as I am aware), may I offer the following:

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

Another great tool for the rail user. A useful addition to other sites such as RealTime Trains and Open Train Times.
