Not sure why it's there. Maybe it's keeping the wall up (!).

There's another disused one at Hayes & Harlington on the upper entrance and an in-use one on the platform at Leatherhead. I know I've seen other sealed up boxes at other stations but can't recall where.

That's at Hythe on the Waterside line ... looking forward to seeing a station entrance here and a regular train service. Where there is nothing, there can be a station rebuilt. For example, Cambridge North (the other unidentified picture) that's so new that few of us oldies recognise it yet.
