Continuing a topic started under "Minehead Rail Link Group" - but a wider picture.  Awards to heritage railways and similar in our area to help them through the current hard times brought on by the pandemic.    This list is slightly longer than the one in the other thread because some of the organisations have thoughtlessly (out of no consideration for the person trying to scrape the lists!) not included the word "Railway" in their company name - I think I have found most of the hidden ones.

906000 Award Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) Public Limited Company
865000 Award West Somerset Railway Plc.
600000 Award Mid Hants Railway Ltd / Mid Hants Railway Preservation Society Ltd (MHRPS)
435100 Award Modern Electric Tramways Ltd (Seaton Tramway)
332300 Award South Devon Railway Trust
318000 Award Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway plc
260000 Award Bodmin & Wenford PLC
223200 Award Swanage Railway Company
153900 Award Wealden Railway Company Limited
79300 Award LYNTON AND BARNSTAPLE RAILWAY COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY
76100 Award Helston Railway Preservation Company Ltd
27900 Award Plym Valley Railway Company Limited
26100 Award Dinmore Manor Locomotive Ltd
20000 Award Cambrian Heritage Railways Limited

Good news for all these organisations.  With their funding crises helped somewhat by the above, I hope that each of them uses the money they have been awarded to move forward with operations and partnerships that provide even better economic benefit to the areas they serve in the future, and not just simply use the money as a buffer giving them a year's holiday from the underlying issues that some have.

There are also 12 awards of over 1 Million they are for National organizations. As yet I have not found a full list but some of them are:

English Heritage
The Landmark trust
Canal and river trust
Historic royal palaces

So I would guess the National trust will be included.
Its a devolved matter so these only cover England.

The Great Western Society's Didcot Railway Centre is getting GBP 184,939, according to an Oxford Mail report. It says visitor numbers have dropped by 60% because of Covid. But an increased number of Steam Days are now planned.
