Have I missed something / not had my eye on the ball?

Quote
18:18 Warminster to Swindon due 19:21
Facilities on the 18:18 Warminster to Swindon due 19:21.
This is due to a fault on this train.
Will be formed of 2 coaches instead of 3.

From WARMINSTER?   A small step in the right (extension) direction if it's permanent and can be advertised!

Is that specially for your lady commuter who travels Chippenham to Warminster and whose homeward journey involved a XX minute wait at Westbury because a connection was missed by a very few minutes.  Wink

Doubt it ... too late in the day ... it would be / is excellent as a stock change, and Warminster to / from Chippenham / Swindon is a significant required journey;   I loose track of when the TransWilts unit is swapped but at times the 17:36 off Swindon has been the final run and the 18:3x back been the first of the new unit.   Were this permanent, it could be useful, as the 17:36 could extend to Frome and the 07:33 start from there ... except that we're in short-term-mode prior to the January May 2019 changes.

Apologies for the digression - but how many F,S or Su exist between 20/08/18 and 23/08/18?
Timetabling technology/language can be quite confusing at times.

I am also impressed by the way that this service now arrives at Warminster as "Class 150/153/155/156" and leaves as "Class 158". This may be the solution to Grahame's query in another thread about where the required number of Turbos, for Cardiff - Portsmouth, are coming from. Arrive as a 150, leave as a 166 - easy !   Smiley
