How do you change your email address?

I went into profile and it was not obvious at all

I have changed my email address and want to update the site

How?

Click profile at the top and then Account Related Settings on the toolbar that apears on the left.

A gentle reminder to members who have changed their email addresses - please remember to change the email address in your profile. Email addresses are only available to the admin team, to whom they provide a vital route of getting in touch in extreme situations.

And that was a timely reminder for me too.

bignosemac@.... is being retired. I've switched to a more mature forename.surname email address.

bignosemac will remain my forum handle though. He's too well known/notorious to retire!

Please keep your forum registered email address up to date. The admin team use it very rarely indeed - but we do need to be able to get in touch / have a connection in an emergency situation, and be able to reach you slightly more formally in the future to notify you of an AGM^▸ . Your email address is also used automatically if you have set up certain notifications within your profile - if you want to hear when someone's posted to a thread you are following, for example.
