As our 50th anniversary approaches, Campaign for Better Transport is seeking a new Chair, Treasurer and Trustees to help implement our new strategy and meet the challenges of a changing transport system. You will need experience in charity governance, but beyond this we are looking for a range of skills to support us in realising our vision: for all communities to have access to high quality, sustainable transport that meets their needs, improves quality of life and protects the environment.

Transport is at the heart of our communities. It connects people to jobs, education, public services, shops, leisure activities, and with other people. It’s key to moving goods to where they are needed. Our vision is for all communities to have access to high quality, sustainable transport that meets their needs, improves quality of life, and protects the environment.

As our 50th anniversary approaches the transport system leads to many challenges for its users, society, the environment and the economy that will have to be tackled. Our organisation is transforming itself to be able to tackle these. We have a new strategy, and we are growing our passionate team to deliver it and achieve greater impact.
