Good job school holidays haven’t started yet.

Quote
17:30 Weymouth to Bristol Temple Meads due 20:09
17:30 Weymouth to Bristol Temple Meads due 20:09 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.
Further Information
Customers are able to use South Western Railway services via Southampton for Westbury, Bath Spa and Bristol.

Probably linked to the following being canned at Bristol:

Quote
14:50 Great Malvern to Weymouth due 19:16
14:50 Great Malvern to Weymouth due 19:16 was terminated at Bristol Temple Meads.
It will no longer call at Keynsham, Oldfield Park, Bath Spa, Freshford, Avoncliff, Bradford-On-Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Frome, Bruton, Castle Cary, Yeovil Pen Mill, Thornford, Yetminster, Chetnole, Maiden Newton, Dorchester West, Upwey and Weymouth.
This is due to a fault on this train.

It seems like the inward working, 1251 GMV (Great Malvern station) to WEY, was struggling, hence the cancellation.
The 1451 GMV to WEY was due to work the 2021 WEY to BRI» (Bristol Temple Meads - next trains). Unless they repair the former in time, the 2021 will suffer the same fate. Traksy has the 5O90 in the Jersey sidings, ecs from 1251 GMV

They have turned the 2O97 Gloucester Weymouth to form the 2V94, 2021 to BRI

It doesn't need any more crew.  The train was running as a 2 car but has now been restored to its usual 4 cars.

Yes, terminated at Temple Meads at 1652 (13 late). Fortunately for passengers as far as Westbury, across the platform there was the 1706 to Warminster, which got to Westbury at 1801 (8 late). Then the train right behind it on platform 1 was the 1805 to Exeter, calling at all stations except Frome and Bruton. This train is then scheduled to sit at Exeter for 40 minutes before going back up to London; so there was plenty of time to have it pick up the extra two stops. Not sure why they didn't, as it would clearly have been helpful, and even at Sprinter timings it would only have ended up 10 late at Castle Cary.
