Checking on Gatwick Flyaway tickets for upcoming requirements, I find comment to suggest they were withdrawn at the beginning of this year. Can members confirm?
These tickets allowe(d) up to four adults to travel to Gatwick, and back (within a month) and are/were valid any time. Advance tickets are not really an option for people arriving in the
UK▸ by air, as they won't be honoured if you plane gets in late or you take much longer than expected to clear customs and immigration.
In a similar vein (though out of our area) Gatwick Flyer, which provided a road service from Essex and North Kent to Gatwick Airport has ceased trading, with customers who are booked advised to make alternative arrangements, and those prepaid by credit card advised to claim back from their card company.
