I see so many sad "disused station" pictures on my data feed ... but things are not always totally what they seem. Here's an example where these days (well - until late last week) the number of trains is perhaps its best ever - it's just that the modern diesel train doesn't need all the facilities such as run around loops, water towers, coaling stages, etc that were needed by a much less frequent service in the past, with the remaining station just up beyond the cars.
I hope to be there again within the year.
