JourneyCheck is reporting (Nov 13 at 17:50):

14:50 Great Malvern to Weymouth due 19:14
This train is being delayed at Gloucester and is now expected to be 60 minutes late.
This train will be terminated at Bristol Parkway and restarted from Bristol Parkway.
This is due to a trespass incident.

I can imagine what it means - that the 16:22 will actually get there at about 17:22, but that another train will have left at 16:22.

But surely there must be a clearer way of explaining this!

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
