Both good thoughts but not what I had in mind, which is much more immediate.   I should add to both lists "and only these lines / route" - both are intended to be complete lists within the GWR (Great Western Railway) operational area, and there is something of a similarity (though opposite) in the two lists.

4 - Only lines with a service on the ASLEF» (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen - about) strike day (makes the answer to no 2 a bit easier!)

5 is, of course, Melksham. Or within 9 minutes of there, anyway.
