Year    Bus journeys    Tube journeys
2019    11,167,000    7,224,000
2020    7,134,000    3,016,000
2021    8,589,000    4,996,000
2022    9,789,000    6,630,000
2023    10,774,000    7,022,000

Not sure if this includes or excludes the Elizabeth line

My thoughts are tube journeys well never go back to commuter levels in the past,BUT maybe Londoners are working more locally?

Be interesting to go into a bit more depth on this, infoman... can you give us a link to the source of this information?

Things take longer to happen than you think they will, and then they happen faster than you thought they could.

I can see the same numbers on IanVisits, dated 4th September, and attributed just to "TfL» (Transport for London - about)". They are also carried, less tabularly, by other news media. The data don't appear to come from TfL's routine statistics, so presumably it's one of those "press releases" that's sent direct to the usual suspects and not published by TfL.
